What do we photograph?

Our custom studio is ideal for showing the true character and finer details of all kinds of products, including:

  • Fine jewellery

  • Loose gemstones

  • Watches

  • Clocks

  • Ceramics

  • Sculptures

  • Antiques and objets

  • Decorative boxes

  • Trophies

  • Handbags and small leather goods

  • Glassware

  • Most other objects

If you have something in mind, get in touch and we’ll be able to advise.

What information do you need to provide an estimate?

Here’s what we need to know before we can supply an estimate.

  • The number of products

  • The number of different combinations per product (for example, we can show a modular piece of jewellery such as a tiara that turns into a necklace, or shoot each piece in a suite separately and also supply a composite video of all the pieces together)

  • Your requested file formats and aspect ratio(s)

  • Whether you’d like an additional set of stills for print publication (shot and edited separately; examples available on request)

  • Your choice of background colour (black or white)

If you have any special requests or additional requirements (for example, zooming in and out on video), let us know and we’ll be in touch to discuss them with you before providing an estimate.

How do I prepare my goods?

At 3Sixty° we take great care in creating videos, which represent your products accurately and in very high definition. As such, we recommend that you take a moment to prepare your items in advance of the shoot to ensure that they look their best on the day.

We strongly advise you to clean your objects as thoroughly as possible in advance. Check that they are and free of dust, fluff and lint. You might also wish to check for any additional flaws (however tiny) that might show up on camera. Unlike still photography, retouching video in post-production, whilst not impossible, is prohibitively expensive and not recommended.

Our videos are shot in the round, so don’t forget to check the back of your object for anything that may have escaped your attention.

Finally, wrap everything up carefully in protective packaging to prevent any dirt or damage in transit.

In what resolution and formats do you deliver the final assets?

Our 360° videos and spin videos are shot in 4K. We generally supply videos as MP4 files in a 16:9 aspect ratio; however, we can deliver in other formats and aspect ratios (for example for YouTube or vertical for Instagram Reels) if specified in advance.

Images taken from video are 2160 x 2160 pixels, or 3465 x 3465 pixels if shot especially for print. We make sure to leave enough leeway around the product so that your creative team can crop each image for various different platforms. Images are generally delivered as jpegs but we can supply other formats on request.

How are the assets delivered?

We give you access to your own private gallery on our drive so that you can download your 360° videos and images. Spin files are hosted by a third party, so we supply a link for you to embed on your website.
